This is a deal that I wish I had noticed previously. I am a current JAWS user and "beyond displeased" doesn't scratch the surface with how I feel about the company and products from Freedom Scientific. It's a shame that these crooks charge as much as they do, and get away with it. I feel robbed every time I think about the cost of their products. And, in interactions I have had with their public relations department, I feel this company doesn't seem to care about the market it is standing for. I am locked to using my PC - for now. I guarantee that I will ditch FS as soon as possible, and use an alternative any time I need a PC. But, this type of competative nature that is being shown with System Access needs to continue. Such a sharp stab at the price tag of competitors is just what folks needing reliable and efficient AT need on their side - comapnies willing to acknowledge high costs must stop.
